Excited about coming to Florida for our wedding? Why not make a vacation out of it! The Gulf Coast has plenty to offer, but we're also only 2ish hours (depending on traffic) from the parks in Orlando if theme parks are your thing. Or, if you're into cruising, use this as a jumping off point to cruise out of Tampa, Port Everglades, Port Canaveral, or Miami. We have a great cruise travel agent if you want a referral!
The best option for those flying to FL is to fly into TPA, however, if you can get a flight to PIE, that's not a bad option - but riskier due to how small it is and the frequency of flights. Dunedin/Clearwater is about a 30-minute drive West of TPA. Rental cars are available at both airports.
Pretty new Hampton Inn located at the end of the Dunedin Causeway. This puts you right in the middle of the location for the ceremony and reception.
This is the newest hotel in the area - it only just recently opened. It's on the opposite side of the street from the Hampton and is probably priced a little less.
If you don't mind a longer drive (30 minutes) , this inland option will save you the most money. You'll still get a clean and comfortable place to stay.

If you're up for the drive to Tampa, you should check out the Riverwalk. It's a fantastic public walkway along the river. If you find yourself wanting to experience an aquarium, the Florida Aquarium is downtown. Right by there you'll find Sparkman Wharf - a cool place to grab a bite to eat, or have a drink near the water. You can also have a massive soft service ice cream cone! If you jump on the TECO street car, you can ride that to Ybor and explore that neighborhood. Busch Gardens is also a local favorite if you're a thrill seeker or animal lover. There's a lot to see!
If you want to stay on this side of the Bay, drive down to St Pete and explore that city. You can visit the Dali Museum, Chihuly Collection, or the St Pete Pier. On your way to downtown St Pete, you can explore the Sunken Gardens. Strolling along the Bay, you can explore Vinoy Park and possibly see dolphins or manatees!
